my father had taken a home loan from ICICI, and he unfortunately passed away a week back due to a heart attack.he had told us in his lifetime that he HAD taken a policy in which if anything happens to him, the loan amount would be paid off by the insurance company.i went and checked with ICICI prulife, and they did a search with my fathers Date of Birth, but it did not find any results, and they say , they cant search with my fathers name in their database as there would be too many people with the same name.i double checked all the documents @ home for any policy number of "Home assure" , but could not find any..
