I would disgree with you on that. Its not the mentality of indian students but the combined effect of environment and circumstances. In india, I cant expect to earn a decent salary unless i have the B.E.+ MBA combo. Abroad, I can earn enough even as a B.E. so MBA is not a priority after graduation. Additionally, the students in UK have student loans to repay after undergraduation (something which our parents pay for us in india). Therefore their priorities are different and they tend to work to repay the undergraduation loan before commencing on a postgraduation. But I would definitely agree that you can appreciate MBA more after you have had some experience.
