Giving up smoking is not that difficult. Trust me for that!!! I started smoking in 1992 at the age of 16 and by the time I completed 25 years of age cigarette had become synonymous to my personality. I smoked no less than 25 cigarettes a day. I fine evening, October 20, 2001 to be more precise, I decided to give it up. I had three cigarettes in the pack and I still have them with me. I neither went for counselling nor took any medicines or therapy. There were 'NO' adverse effect on my health. It was sheer determination. I took inspiration from one of my colleagues who also smoked like an engine and gave up smoking justa few days before I did. I waited for 20 days to see teh results and then thought when he can do it why can't I.
