When I saw this article I had to click it open and read it! There couldnt be anything more true, its often the case that less skilled persons often gifted in interpersonal skills get to bag many colleagues appreciation and yes Superiors do look out for those who are an expert in this glib. Infact I find that is what should be taught more in B schools for management (the "human" factor) rather than handling fundas which often just becomes a backup for existence in an office!But, remember if you are good as gold in your job, your superior COULD be the right goldsmith to carve out a beautiful career for you! Right balance is perhaps the secret.
