dark skin with patches

Hi , I am 25 year old female, I have got pale wheatish brown skin. Right now I am using retino A
0.0025% and Glyaha-vit alernate days .

I want is it safe to apply above mentioned ointments for long period?.

please recomend some home remedies or creams to
improve my complexion.
