Yes i agree that Drucker's books are very important to be understood. Not only MBA but whole of our education does not place emphasis on holistic knowledge. Two subjects that are developing very fast that give lot of importance to holistic knowledge are 'Theory of Constraints' and 'Systems thinking/Dynamics'.
