Why No Call Centers
by Neerav Mody on Jul 14, 2005 05:30 PM

Why E-Learning Companies, and No Call Centers:

1- No work-shifts in E-learning firms.

2- Technical knowledge not necessary. Basic computer skills suffice. Of course, additional skills give you the edge.

3- Superb work environments. Most of the E-Learning employees are fresh out of college. The environment is young at heart. So, you don't miss college. Very friendly.

4- Climbing The Ladder. Unlike a call center, there is too much scope for increments and hikes.

5- A change. In a call center, all you do is attend calls and solve queries. And put up with the abuse that the foreigners hurl at us. Whereas in an E-Learning company, there is no such problem. Also, there is a continuous flow of projects which ensure that you do not get tired of doing the same job over and over.

6- Decent Salary. Almost equal to the call centers. But with so many extra benefits.
7- Continuous Recruitment.

There are many E-Learning companies in Mumbai.
Take your pick.

All you need is a flair for writing, and fluency in English.
