Out of all those people who have replied here how many of u have really working in a call center or used to work??? i doubt the no. to be less than 30% ! Wat is said here is jus hear-say, i mean someone starts sayin "oh call center ,NO FUTURE" unless u have actually worked there how do u assume its bad...its really sick the mindset of ppl.....once upon a time the defacto standard was a govt job, then came the phase where Gulf was a in vouge , then being an engineer in MNC was considered rocking....wat im tryin to say is times change preferences change and we indians have this thing about goin against anything radical and new coming up.....and abt the issue of uncle sam....if uncle sam cut outsourcing the so called professional[engineers] are out on the road too[80% for software projects are from USA,this a leading indian s/w company HR told me in person].. so its always a 50-50...so guys make hay while sun shines!
