No Call Centers
by Neerav Mody on Jul 14, 2005 05:27 PM

The general perception about Call Centers is that only graduates who do not specialize in a particular stream work there.
Employees argue : "Why Not?
They pay us well, and more than most of the other companies in their line."

What they don't realize is that Call Centers are not the only places that offer decent salaries to a fresh graduate.

Also, why doesn't anybody consider the drawbacks of working in a call center?
The Night Shifts. This is the main problem with almost all Call Center employees.
They say they can manage all that for big bucks.
But that is what it is!
Adjustment!
An adjustment which makes your whole system and biological clock go haywire!

What is required is the need to explore similar territory.
Enter E-Learning firms.
E-Learning is big business.
And it is high time these fresh graduates realize that.
Also, it is easier to work in an E-Learning company than in a call center because of various reasons.
