I know where u are coming from. I found the book thrilling and read it in 6 hrs straight and those 6 hrs were in front of computer. I had a soft copy actually.
It is most definitely not a yawn. This guy has woven facts and fiction so closely that you find it impossible to distinguish them.
But all said and done, I won't be marooned on an island with this book. It has no retaining value. Kinda like use-and-throw. And I won't be surprised if they make a movie out of it. Hell!! I may actually go and watch it :D.
