Theoretically Brijesh Singh's views about particiapting and winning in GDs sounds good. But winning in a GD requires killer instincts, and hence calls for killer tactics.
These are tactics which may sound out-of-the-world, but they are the ones that work.
1. Get-in (try to speak first, open the GD) 2. Most GDs are chaotic in nature. The best way to get noticed in that 10-15 mins is to target one or two guys who share the opposing viewpoint. But make sure that you dont get into a heated argument, but try to come up with a constructive discussion and project that you are right. What you also do in the process is that you shut down the other guys around you, without scoring any negative points. 3. There are situations where you will come across GD topics for which you dont know what to say. That's the time to listen for the first two minutes. Then you will know what the topic is all about. 4. If you are a girl, speak up. There is a 99% chance that others will let you speak, considering our cultural values. And if you are a guy, never let the ladies take the upperhand. You just might lose the last available slot from the group.
