Yes, Ofcourse i would have lent the money. Eventhough money is important for me but when my friend is in crisis i would certainly him out , Sometimes emotions play a main role ie true... Ofcourse ie friendship ... In your case if your friend have cheated then you didn't choose a good one but it doesnot happen to all.
