About Home Loan and HRA

Hi,
I am staying in a rented house and planning to buy a new flat in the same city, for which the posession will be in Feb-2006.

Now can I claim the benefits of HRA and also the benefits of tax exemption for the interests and principal prepayments in the current financial
year?
