Mr. Menon, While i appreciate ur great concern for the wastage of human resources, what i could not understand is , supposing a single commomn admission test is held for all the institutes, will it not contain the so called " redundent questions" ? Secondly, while i agree that Einstein, Dhirubhai Ambani or Bill Gates did not have any professional degrees and probably could never have cleared exams like CAT, the fact still remains that if the resources are scarce, u need some kind of screening to separate the grain from the chaff. Further, u urself admit the high correlation between exam score and the success in carrer.
