working hours
by boinapalli devender on Dec 30, 2004 02:03 AM

dear sir
i'd like to share my comments on above topic. before inventing the electric bulb human beings are slaves to the sun.people used to raise early from the bed and they used to work between 9a.m. and 5p.m. only.no cinemas,no internet, no late night parties.they used yo sleep early.
but due to rapid industrialisation and latest inventions in science & technology, working round the clock in rotating shifts became inveitable.classic example of negative effects of technology is working in night shifts and varying shifts.gastro intestinal disorders, heart problems, and diabetis are the common health problems associated with people working in night shifts.by birth human beings are not noctrunal nature.so the rytham of the boilogical clock will be diturbed.
