According to my perception, it all matters with the kind of profile you are handling and the workload directed by your superior. Am working as Sr. Manager (Marketing) with a local firm and usually have inward timing fixed for 9pm and never is the outward timing a constant one........it keeps on fluctuating from 7pm to anything like 11pm or 12 midnight. Only the benefit goes to my subordinates who are least concern for the work and they leave by dot time - 6pm. We are all aware about the competitive market and the promptness as well alertness required. All this demands for the job to be completed in time, thus resulting into late hour working. Eventhough, subordinates share the burden, but thats only upto 6pm and not more than that.......further than that its you only. I think the similar consequences would be faced by other Middle and Senior Management Executives. We too hate it, but cannot move off from our responsibilities. Even our expectations stands for 9am to 6pm job, but its only expectations that in this competitive market cannot be fulfilled.....Now its that, I have consider it to be part and partial of life..........
