it wud b completely wrong 2 critisise iit-way of teachin. the only reason y iitians go for mba after graduation is that in india, core jobs r not as attractive as u get after mba.US universities add a little bit of post graduation element in undergraduate courses itself.i feel sorry for ur iit-d friend who doesnt seem 2 hav idea abt electical circuits in d final yr. while there r other iitians who design hi tech robots in their 2nd year itself(if feasible....c it urself at techfests of iits). i m not commenting in d post graduate courses but the ug courses offered by d iits r by far listed in d most competitive ones(ask any US senate member)!!
