Private Engineering Colleges

Today we find lots of Engineering private colleges Mushrooming with negligible infrastructure and that to not up to the standards. Most of these Colleges are connected to some politician or the other. Why should politicians interfere in the technical education? Today we find that most of the Engineers who pass out of these colleges are not having a job or even if they do have a job, it is not upto their liking and their standards.The value of Engineers (what was their in about 5 to 6 years back) has come down drastically.That is the reason why we find Engineers applying for jobs meant for other desciplines.When will this stop? My suggestion is that the mushrooming of all private colleges should be stopped immediately and the government should plan concrete steps to raise the level & standard of education.
