Sachin is only one of the best batsmen in the world.So as Dravid.If Sachin is a legend, Jayasurya,Kallis,Gillchrist,Warne,Murali etc. and ofcourse Lara are greater legends.Aren't they?Why should give Padma to Sachin alone?His contribution to Indian cricket is not much greater than others like Dravid,Kapil,Gavascar etc.
