I watched the match on 25.06.1983. At exactly, 00.00 hours, India won the final. 26.06.1983 began then. It was my wedding day. I distinctly remember the post-match proceedings too. Kapil Dev spraying the champaign is the scene which is still alive in my memory. It was almost like a wedding day gift for me. I can never forget it. Again on 25.06.2008, I watched the highlights of the match, which also ended almost at zero hours. But for Kapil, we would never have won the World Cup Final in 1983.
