Guyz though statistically it's unfair to compare to sehwag with tendulkar....but he's never been a technically sound batsman ( he belongs to the hand eye coordination bracket......and then his superhuman confidence.....any one who knows bowling can hit him on head and beat him with 2 outswingers....followed by an inside edge to pads...but it's not guranteed that he'll be cautious on the fifth ball....he'll stil atempt to hit you if the bowl demands......and more often than not this ploy succeeds and demoralizes the bowlers....for instance see his centuries ( 300's baffling heat in Multan and chennai....195 boxing day on a fresh fast pitch against lee and gillespie.....100 on debut ( overcast conditions....against SA IN sa).....100 on opening day seaming pitch of nottingham.....166 on a dreadful chennain wicket against mcgrath, lee , gillespie, warne and kasprowicz....when the next best score in the test was 60...160 on a fifth day adelaide wicket....success on skidding trampoline wickets of NZ..which are not fastest as the author above acclaims but a testament to batsmanship of highest class...seam swing overcast and nagging dibbly dobbly medium pacers.......a hunderd 180 in WI...150 ON BREAKING WICKET in mumbai...after all all of his last 10 hundereds are a score above 150 a feat which not even bradman cud achieve leave aside sachins and dravids.....so guys give the credit where it is due......let's hail VEERU as like RD n SRT he has his own niche in INDIAN CRICKET.
