Yes, Mr.Ponting your side may be viewed as one of the all time great sides in terms of cricketing abilities. However, as far as boorish behaviour goes, certainly your side will go down as the worst team of all times. And the only teams that can compete against your side are the earlier Australian sides lead by others. There is no competition outside Australia for this. Many Australians take pride in saying that Australian cricketers play the game hard and fair. Hard, OK. But, fair? Come on, do not make us laugh. Perhaps your definition of `fair' is different from what others perceive. The word `fair' does not refer to the colour of the skin (though that is what has landed Harbhajan in trouble in the whole `monkey' business)here, but fairness of play. Perhaps you are confused between the two. Most of the Australian cricketers are fair (being white, this comes naturally to you) but your behaviour on the field is certainly not fair. One should command respect and not demand it through press conferences and newspaper columns. However much you try, with you as captain, your team can never command respect. You certainly are a great cricketing nation, but your team is very boorish and no amount of denying by you is going to change that!
