and that is

Seriously, to say the least, whites in general and australians in particular have no respect for age - be it for their parents or some one elses. They care two hoots for parents. If (if at all) an earning son goes with retired father to a restaurant, both pay their own bill! A ninety year old man gets his own groceries even if there are six kids!! Many people use that very same word - old monkey - for their father!
