There were four issues

There were 4 issues in this match
1.      Steve Bucknor%u2019s personal vendetta against India. Please dig into the matches he has officiated in the last 10 plus years. You will be amazed at the percentage of erroneous and dubious decisions he has given against India. I dare you to compare this with any other neutral umpire%u2019s dubious decisions against any other country.
2.      Harbhajan%u2019s racial slur allegation, and later upholding it. Enough is said already on this topic.
3.      Australian team%u2019s lack of honesty, especially Ricky Ponting appealing for a grounded chance, and then siding with his teammate for converting a grounded catch into a clean one. It does not matter that Ganguly had given an easy chance a few overs before that, and Clark had dropped. Had he continued, Ganguly might have nicked next over only. But, the point is, before the series Ponting and Kumble had agreed for something noble. On the fifth day of the second match, Ponting betrayed.
4.      Some very inconsistent decisions in the match. When Dravid played a shot to gully or point area, in the first innings, Australians appealed even though it was caught after one bounce, and Bucknor referred this to the third umpire. Of course, obviously it was a not out. Again, in the second innings, I don%u2019t exactly remember who the umpire was, but he referred an obvious not out (run out chance of Bhajji, I think) to the third umpire because the Australians appealed loud.
