It is extremely unfortunate that lots of people at Down Under and England who seems to know all about the game forget one thing that the basic tenets of Cricket as a sport are Integrity and Sportsmanship. On both counts Australians and in particular the Gang of 4 Ponting, Gilchrist, Symonds and Michael Clarke have failed miserably . The trouble with the Aussies is that they always want to b in a win win situation whether the means justifies that or not. To all intents and purposes India wud have won the Sydney Test had Bucknor and Benson duo applied themselves and ultimately Team India lost again thanks to the exemplary decisions of the duo. Whether Harbhajan said the words or not in the spat where 1st of all Symonds shd not have bn involved as it involved Brett Lee who did not say anything is not clear either to the supervising duo and Procter only relies on Ponting's untruth to punish Harbhajan. BCCI may b rich and ICC may think of stern action but on what foundation a guilt not proved do u think it will stand the Test of Law!I do not want to comment on the views of our own Mr Bedi who just said such things happen without having any concern about India's National Pride being hurt which was voiced by Dr Farookh Abdullah. Pl do not take me to b Negative but this is the limit one as an Indian can digest The tour can go on only if charges against Harbhajan is dropped and Sydney Test b declared unofficial.
