Hail Veeru

I suppose time has come recognise Sehwag as the most valuable batsman in Indian team. He may not be the best batsman in the team but certainly with the decline of Rahul Dravid he has become a very dependable player.

It is also reflective of the fact the big 4's playing power are vaning quite rapidly. It hurts to see the big 4 who used to demolish spinners have come to a point where they can't score a run to save their lives against the two great spinners. I know the fans over here will again my remind me about how Sachin destroyed Shane Warne. But that was in 1998!! It surprises how Monty Panesar, Paul Harris, Nicky Boje, Muralitharan, Mendis have all troubled India.

Sachin is doing the same as Kapil Dev did in the last 5 years of his career, a liability on the team!! Dravid seems to be the bottleneck of the team. More often than not he is not able to stay on the wicket and if he does then he ruins all chances of scoring by blocking one end and taking the strike on the last ball of the over.

Saurav Ganguly, well what to say, the great comeback dream is turning into a nightmare. I hope better sense prevails to him and he retires before Dalmiya chucks him out.

VVS Laxman, the last battling soldier, don't know till when!!
