Hey, your judgement seems ill-adviced by a narrow view of a sportperson. Do not ever forget the truth that a sportsperson does not belong to any community. Only people like you tend to compare them in the eyes of community.
It is understandable that the community to which a good sportsperson belongs to rejoice more than others. But, it does not mean that they would not do so when a sportsperson becomes a pride of a nation, whichever community he belongs to.
Lastly, a good sportsperson means not just the playing skills he possesses, he also becomes a role model for all younsters and should display humility, understanding, ethics and morality. Thew name SPORTS characterises just these and nothing else! People like you give different meanings and that hurts.
