It's going to lead to INFLATION and kill CRICKET
by Samir Doshi on Apr 10, 2008 06:38 AM

All the money that's spent by corporates on IPL is going to further increase inflation. And in the end us consumers will have to pay for increased costs in basic commodities like Rice, Wheat flour, Vegetables.

Concept of T20 come from USA, who thought that it was difficult to concentrate for a full day on cricket. And as we all know Americans have done things only for their only benefit. They will gradually kill cricket. Rather than promoting cricket in West Indies they brought about T20. they took away good talented cricketers from West Indies to play Baseball, Basketball rather than develop the real cricket - TEST cricket.

IPL and even ICL has basically killed common persons interest in cricket. And with the money thats getting poured into IPL - unless we common people boycott IPL, it will turn out to be a big success. So boycott IPL and ICL and promote actual cricket.

Real test of character is playing TEST cricket and to an extent One -d ay cricket. Real strategy is involved in those form of cricket.
T20 is like fast food.

What hppens if you eat fast food for everyday of your life. You will get sick.
You have to have proper food to live a healthy life.
