Unni, a manager first needs to manage himself before trying to manage others. In the sense that he should lead from the front by playing to his potential. If he doesn't then nobody would want to be under a captain who just talks and does nothing. That is the reason you have had most captains saying that captaincy affects their batting or bowling performances.
