You do have a point, Mr. Member of Microscopic Minority! However, why thank God? God has surely not saved the millions of poor who are victims of poverty, war, earthquakes and tsunamis. In fact, we do waste quite a bit of money, time, energy and food in the name of God. Why do people still worship God? The answer is some people just blindly believe in God because he offers hope and peace of mind from the ills of the world. Similarly, there are millions of people who love cricket because it is fun, mostly harmless and offers peace of mind. So, if you have the misfortune of not being able to appreciate cricket and are "growing" old in your thoughts, please let others enjoy this wonderful game of cricket and stay young at heart.
