the leader of rationalists i.e.
by Sanjeev Sharma on Sep 26, 2007 09:15 PM

M Karunanidhia is a polygamist.
Shouldn't Dravidian Reverend Karunanidhi be prosecuted for polygamy which is illegal under the Hindu Marriage Act of the Indian constitution?

Oh, I forgot that he is a self proclaimed
"Atheist" with christist leanings and a
visceral hatred for all things Hindu.
At any rate, even the law governing Christian marriages in India proscribes polygamy.

Personal lives of controversial public figures cannot remain in the private domain, particularly when such figures are avowed "secular rationalists".

Just one more reason for the implementation of a Uniform Civil Code.
The absence of such a modern, uniform, secular, rational law to govern all communities nails the farce that Indian dhimmocracy is.

It is of course, futile to expect anything from the gutless dhimmi seculars.
Unfortunately, even the BJP seems to have put this issue in cold storage.
