A raw, young team with players who had exhibited flashes of brilliance earlier were sent to a tournament of such an high caliber i.e. World cup 20-20. They started as underdog which really proved a blessing in disguise because they had nothing to loose. But, then the dream run began and we came out with absolutely convincing and scintillating victories against the likes of Pakistan, England and Australia.
Once again expectation rose sky high. Every Indian desired the world cup and it did was but not before a see saw of moments which tilted favour to either side. Eventually everything worked well, until those three huge sixes of Harbajan. This literally swung the game in Pakistan favor and literally choked us. This was followed by a four and a six and this left us gasping. Millions had already retired to defeat and there was a deafening unbelievable silence all over. The whole nation was breathing in unison and hoping for the inevitable to happen. But, what happened thereafter couldn%u2019t have been better. The reverse scoop was seen heading towards the boundary %u2013 everybody thought the game was over since they presumed it to be a six or a four; this is because the player who was to make the inevitable happen was not visible. Then, out of the blue emerged the blue boy sreesanth and he held on to a wonderful catch. What followed was an absolute mayhem. People were screaming in disbelief.
