For me Dhoni was going to be the logical choice! Its a known fact that Sachin and Sourav have hardly got a year or two to play. Let these greats retire in glory. Moreover Sachin has spoken on him not keen to play one dayers frequently and Sourav has been tentative in taking the captaincy again (at least has voiced that in his interactions with the media). It will be better for Indian cricket if the experienced players support the new captain and take the team to new heights while they finish their illustrious careers. All the best MSD.
