i do not think the WI series of 1983 and the present series with the Aussies are comparable. the present Indian team is not as bad as the 4-1 result suggest. in fact with little more luck the Indians could have won the Nagpur match. people may not agree but fact of the matter is the seniors(including Zaheer) and the youngsters are not jelling to the optimum to win close matches. if not at one go, atleast the seniors should be rested by rotation to give chance to youngsters like rohit sharma, dinesh kartik, badrinath and others towards team building for future. if the status-quo continues like this India may not win any major one day series or Championship for long time to come.
