Sad but true
by Tarun Pathare on Oct 10, 2007 02:17 PM

However pathetic the whole situation is, one has to agree with Gavin Robertson. He has very openly an honestly admitted that the Aussies, when it comes to behaving on the field, show some sub-human traits. Maybe that's what they've grown up on in their home country. It's true that the Aussies were never known for their politeness and courtesy. They've always been known to be bullying rowdies, who do not know nor deserve respect due to human beings. (Makes you wonder what they are doing, participating in a game that's defined as a gentlemen's game).
So what does Team India do in return? Do the same and retaliate in the same language the brutes understand?? I think, that will help their cause even further. On the other hand, like suggested by Gavin here, if the Indian players do the exact opposite (laugh & joke about things... ridicule them, if one may), that will be the most perfect answer to their shameless intimidation tactics. This will totally confuse them, make them even more ferocious and then ultimately perish to thier own mental pressure. C'mon Indians, we've defined & perected the art of non-violent retaliation since generations and it's the one that always ultimately works.
There's no better way of disarming your enemy!
