and the fact remains that we have taken up sledging as a permanent task but rather as a transient thing esp. against the Aussies. But the Aussies have been doing it since long and against every team, so they ought to know more about it, its advantages and its pitfalls.
Its always better to play to ur own strenghts and to exploit ur opposition's weaknesses.
Sresanth shud sledge and he shud get under the Aussies skin as much as he wants, but some of his antics have been rather stupid and in poor taste ... taking a 3 wicket haul for 56 is not a good proof of u sledging being a success ... but dropping a lollypop catch of ur own bowling isa sure sign of ur own sledging getting to u and putting u urself under pressure.
A true sledge keeps himself free of all pressure and gives it to the opposition; clenching fists and tuttering teeth and loud screms etc will only put the doer under pressure, not the watcher will be more bemused and happy than feeling sledged ........
