Interesting to note the point you have made here - 'one has to hate the opponent on the field to win'. Unfortunately people look upon sports as a contest between two teams, even close to a war! But for the true sportsman, every game is a test of his own abilities, a race to better himself....opponents are just a means to achieve that end....
