Am not sure if this is a true story or rediff just trying to create a controversy and story. Why would Kumble and Harbhajan take a look at the pitch and say it's ok? Kumble is the captain, for god's sake..he would be the first person to object if the pitch was not to his liking..especially since this will be his first test as captain..
