Wrong umpiring
by syed kalim on Nov 19, 2007 02:14 PM

Umpires are human beings. Then why should they decide on something they cant clearly see. By hearing a sound, the umpire raised his finger instantly. The ball had just brushed the shoulder which was evident from the replay. Yuvraj is a very decent person and would have walked out himself if he was out. But iam surprised why our umpires do not even think for once while deciding the fate of the batsman. Even the code of conduct for umpires is clear that if there is a doubt, the benefit goes to the batsman. Sachin has been a victim of hasty decisions by the umpires. The english umpires i feel are better than this sahiba and shastri and i feel they are biased against our own players. Itni bhi mehman nawazi theek nahin bhai
