Rule over
by krishna sumanth on Nov 19, 2007 02:20 PM

There must a chance given to the 3rd umpire to overrule the ground umpire, if the decision made by the ground umpire is found to be wrong. It was not a series deciding match, but a mistake is a mistake!!

Aleem dar made 2 mistakes in the series deciding match in the 7th ODI against England, a few days ago. He confessed a couple of months later that he had made a mistake (or mistakes). What's the fun? The decision had decided the fate of that series by then. Time for BCCI/ICC to think on improving the umpiring standards!
