Why Sehwag ?

Why did the selectors select him in the first place ?
If you select a player by name and reputation and not performance, it does not make sense. What will it do to the morale of the performing players.
Sehwag has done nothing in almost 20 0r more one dayers now, they suddenly think he will jump back to form and start scoring against big teams.
If sourav was removed on non performance Sehwag should also be out.
I can only feel pity for Indian team
