When ANY player is in domestic form, he should be PICKED and PLAYED so that we know whether he is a "talent" like Tendulkar, or a "fizzler out" like so many others.
Mongia, S Ramesh, WV Raman all had their chances. In fact, but for fielding, even VVS is a classy bat, especially when he gets going. I don't recollect Badri getting a chance, but last year (and 2002~03) he was definitely good.
