I would consider this to be a more of India's loss than Sri Lanka's victory. India played some good cricket in early parts of both the innings. However, during Sri Lanka's batting we lost the advantage by not having a third good seam bowler and during India's batting we lost the advantage due to our non existant tail. To be true I dont really remember instances of India's tail wagging when its really crucial. They certainly play some shots and get runs when top order has performed miserably but in a close encounter I dont remember India's tail helping team's cause in this decade. Another thing which is being pointed out is SL's tight fielding and good pressure applied by Sri Lanka. Then I would like to remind Dravid & his co that this is international cricket and everybody will apply the same pressure. So does that mean that we should accept defeat whenever pressure is applied by other team. Also India's fielding is defintely not upto International standards. Yestersay, 3 international matches were going on simultaneously and if somebody was wathcing those matches then the first thing that would come to mind was India is the fist of all seix team in terms of fielding. Very casual, very very callous. Misfields are part of daily routine and catches come and go easily. Nobody looks annoyed or wants to put that extra...and hitting the stumps is something which is not desired due to whatever reasons. So India buckle up and get ready to face the music at WC... or if we wanna win the WC we need our rich cricket board to help this team with the help of betting nexus and purchase the WC. I am sure Team India's sponsers - Pepsi, Hero Honda, Nike etc will be more than happy to dish out the amount for this
