BECAUSE WE INDIA DOES NOT WANT TO BE COACHED!

Because India doesnt want to be coached!
Simple logic!
The top four players who are a certainity in the team now, i.e. Sachin-Saurav-Dravid-Kumble- on an average played more than 100 tests. It helps if someone doesnot have previous coaching experience or else he would try to rub that experience on these players who played an average of above 100 tests which they will resent particularly being in their twilight of their careers. They dont like another controversy particularly after the bitte experience of Greg Chappel. Hence it is better to have someone like Gary Kirsten who would keep a low profile atleast till the retirement of these top four. Then one may review his performance and attitude and decide to renew the contract or not.

Sunny was right in his choice. If Ajit Wadekar expands his horizon of cricketing thought, he would be able to appreciate better!
