I agree with some of the things Mr.Wadekar has mentioned especially with regards to the team's recent successes in England, World Twenty20 and the IndoPak series. Seriously speaking its a no-brainer when it comes to deciding whether a team made up of more than six 30 yr olds and a batting line up that could even make the game's greatest look stupid.
This Indian team at the moment does not need a coach. They have been operating well like band of brothers and seem to have coped well with the split captaincy. Gary Kirsten would only look like a monkey on their backs.. in other words.. a distraction. The BCCI can suck at whatever they want but appointing Kirsten as coach was a big NO NO. He may have been a decent player but as a coach he has no resume !
