To make India World Beaters
by Nikhil Sakhalkar on Nov 01, 2006 09:04 AM

To be the best the only thing that is required is the eagerness to "WIN". We could see that eagerness with Ganguly and John Wright combination . The big guns used to fire and young players blossomed under his captaincy. The likes of Sehwag,Yuvraj,Kaif,Sreesanth.Even if Ganguly is not in the best form he still has that spark and his agreessive nature was the only reason we reached the final in the last World Cup. Dravid batting has also been affected by the extra burden. I think we should immediately get Saurav Ganguly in place to injured Yuvraj Singh .With the kind of experience he has we are not only putting a great batsmen but also adding a extra medium pace bowler which can be effective in West Indies. The team management should wake up and forget about the quota system and get the best 11 who can help India win the World Cup next year. With Zaheer and Anil back in the team it has added a lot of balance and experience to the bowling department.Right now the team needs someone like Saurav to come back share his experience and ignite the spark in all the players and let Dravid concentrate on his batting.Dravid cannot get the same motivation level as Saurav did."SAURAV SAURAV"
