India Cricket Teams poor performance
by magic_spinner on Oct 30, 2006 11:34 PM

The Pot-Bellied Indian Cricket players and management are to blame for Indian Cricket Teams recent performance. The management needs to raise the regional cricket's standard in India to at least South Africa's level, if not to Austraia's or England's. I know that some people at BCCI are trying their best, but many at BCCI are using their pot-bellies to think and sitting on their bums. At this pace in 500 years time Indian Cricket Team might be as good as the present Aussie team are now, by when the Aussies would have taken to their game to next level or maybe to some other planet or galaxy.

I know the festive season was around, but come-on, thats no excuse for the performance of Pot-bellied players. We dont see the Aussies with Santa Clause bodies around Christmas time. When ever the all conquering captain Steve Waugh was asked of the Secret of his team, he always used to say that he was captaining the most hard working team in the world, who put in the most hours and effort in practice and the Gym. I am sure that Ricky Ponting will say the same. Even Dennis Lillee, back in the days used to spend EIGHT HOURS bowling practice everyday and then at the end of the day enjoy a pint
