It is not wise to pay the boys at par with the aussies,south africans and english teams. These countries have a much higher per capita income so the payment of their cricketers is not obscenely higher than the rest of the country. Since our boys get paid at much higher rates compared to the national average they tend to lose focus soon. Combined with the fact that endorsements fetch them even more money it is no surprise that they lose their heads very soon ( dont blame them..anybody would). So pay them out at reasonable rates and deposit the rest into some kind of pension fund which would be accessible only after representing the country in a certain number of tests and or one-dayers.Ban any endorsement contracts till you played in a certain number of matches to prove your worth. Dont be diheartened on losing to teams like Australia as they are world champions. Spot youngsters with the right "attitude" and nurture them.
This should do the trick.Keep in mind no Chinese cricketer ( yes they will bebeating everyone in 10-15 years if not sooner)will ever be payed such money but they will still perform becuse they will be brought up like that. I welcome any criticism /opinions.
