Gnaguly and Wright
by Rajesh J Vyas on Aug 16, 2006 10:38 AM

Sir:

A lot of uncalled for hoopla is created out of a non-incident. These things are very common between the team and the coach. I think it is the coach's right to reprimand his wards.

The sad thing is that earlier politics was confined to BCCI but now it has raised its ugly head in the team. The intra team politics is going to take its toll sooner or later.

This will be reflected in the team performance. One does not need to look too far. Just check what happened in West Indies tour and check the ODI results. What a shameful and spineless performance against a "C" grade team.

It is hightime the politicians (Rajiv Shukla included) are shown the door from the BCCI and stalwarts like gavaskar, Vishwanath,Amarnath, Kirmani,Vengsakar etal. are assigned the task of running BCCI.

When it comes to cricket politics, let us be BOLD enough to say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".
I am sure we shall see a qualitative change
