I think there is myth needs to be shattered - The myth of being straight-forward & abrasive.
Mr Panicker, please remember,
A PERSON WHO SPEAKS ABRASIVELY or in a STRAIGHTFORWARD manner might not always speak the truth.This is rather a charade to create an impression that I am a no-nonsense BOLD guy.
On the other hand, a person who speaks in a balanced & matured manner, might not always be telling lies.
I am not supporting Ganguly. His form does not support his selection in the team. He , then, must go.But, there are selectors to decide on that.If a captain is physically unfit, it is the duty of Chapell to bring him back into the game & not just sending e-mails cribbing about it.It is like a child complaining to a teacher for being teased by his fellow classmates.
Sourav captained India for the last five years.He has salvaged the team from betting scandal and created the concept of Team India.Chapell is such a genius that he understood the divisive nature of Ganguly's leadership with 2 months.And what is his track record as a coach? Let him first equal the record of Bob Wolmer first. Finally regarding ethical standards, Underarm Chapell is no angel.
